Tayler Nalder

Solicitor

Expertise: General practice with a focus on Agriculture, Conveyancing, Wills & Trusts, and Employment Law. I enjoy the variety of general practice and the opportunity to assist clients across a broad range of legal matters.

Education & Admission: Bachelor of Laws (LLB), University of Canterbury. Admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in August 2024.

Background: Originally from Takaka, I moved south to Oamaru and attended Papakaio School before completing secondary education at Rangiora High School. Having grown up on a farm, I’ve always had a strong connection to the agricultural sector, including dairy farming alongside my university studies.

Before beginning my legal career, I spent time overseas, including working on a cattle station in Western Australia, followed by time in Canada working in a winery and cidery. I also travelled extensively throughout Canada and the United States before returning to New Zealand to join Dean & Coleman Law.

Community & Interests: Outside of work, I’m actively involved in the equestrian community — competing successfully in show jumping events throughout New Zealand and serving as Co-Show Director for the NZ National Show Jumping and Show Hunter Show. I also enjoy hockey, squash, and hunting with my horses during the winter months.

Best Part of the Job: Helping people — building genuine connections with clients and working alongside them to achieve successful outcomes and ongoing growth.
