Congratulations to Emma Middlemass on her admission to the bar

Dean & Associates is proud to congratulate Emma Lee Middlemass on her admission to the bar which took place on Thursday 24 May in Dunedin’s High Court before Justice Whata.

Emma’s parents were present for the ceremony together with her grandmother and a selection of her close friends. Partner of Dean & Associates Ben Coleman moved Emma’s admission.

Justice Whata spoke both wisely and inspirationally to the newly admitted solicitors, and Emma thanked her friends and family, the firm and her many supporters when given the opportunity to speak herself.

The firm has followed Emma’s progress closely over the years through high school and university, and this special occasion marks an important achievement for her. Emma has been employed as an office junior here during her university holidays and more recently as a law clerk, she is highly motivated and is looking forward to converting her knowledge and proficiencies gained at law school into meaningful advice to clients as a practicing solicitor.

Emma brings a bright and enthusiastic approach to her work and clients can be assured of receiving an integral and personal service from her. Emma’s uncompromising research skills allow her to ensure that clients receive up to date, relevant and appropriate guidance when confronting various issues.

Emma’s parents are long standing clients of the firm and she is a born and bred Oamaruvian. Dean & Associates are delighted to mark this local girl’s ‘rise through the ranks’ and look forward to her continued professional development.
