The firm celebrated the longevity, loyalty and dedication of its longest serving employee Ali Wilson recently during a special dinner at a local restaurant in which Ali was presented with a gold watch.
Ali joined the firm as a young man in his very early twenties and has remained the firm’s custodian throughout four decades since.
Ali is recognised in the community as being a trusted adviser to many generations of the Waitaki’s families and businesses and his milestone achievement is particularly uncommon in today’s age.
Recently back in the country after their daughter’s beach wedding in Rarotonga, Ali and his wife Jill enjoyed the evening while partner Bill Dean gave an outstanding speech in recognition of Ali’s service and the many changes the firm has presided over during the last forty years.
